KOE synth voice module.

This is the KOE module, it is japanese for "voice" because it is a complete synth voice in just one affordable module, it is 28 HP width and needs +/- 12V power.

Main features:

One VCO with square and ramp wavefoms with depth and tune controls, tune control is a ten turn potentiometer which allows you easily set octave, tune and fine tune with
just one knob.

Noise sourse, it can be set to affect the VCO frequency or it can be mixed with the VCO and audio input.

One LFO with square and triangle waveforms is can be set to affect the VCO frequency or the Filter cut off, it also features an output jack.

High pass and Low pass vactrol based filter with cutoff and resonance/peak control, it also features an input jack to control the cut off frequency.

Two Envelope generators: EG1 with decay control which is set to affect the cut off frequency of the filter and EG2 with attack and release controls, set to affect the volume, it has an output jack and input jack for the incoming gate signal.

Also it features an audio input, it allows process any axternal audio signal with the filter and envelopes.

KONEKO MIDI to CV

Hello world it is the KONEKO eurorack module, it is an affordable Midi to CV converter (Volt per Octave), it is 14HP width and needs +/- 12V, +5V power.

Main features:

CV1 PITCH output 0 to +5 Volt range (5 octaves) it comes from a very accurate 12 bit resolution (4096 steps) digital to analog converter DAC, which translates the incoming midi note messages to voltage. It also responds to the pitch bend or pitch wheel control, according to the midi standard it has a range of +/- two half steps.

Glide effect, it affects the CV1 PITCH output.

Gate output 0 or +5 Volt. it has a red LED that indicates when there is an active gate signal.

CV2 output 0 to +5 Volt range, it comes from a 7 bit resolution (128 steps) digital to analog converter, it can be easily set to output the velocity or any controller CC from the midi device.

PROGRAM button allows you easily set the midi channel just by pushing it and then pushing a note in your midi keyboard, the midi channel will be automatically set and stored even when the unit is turn off. It also allows you to set the controller CC for the CV2 output, just push the Program button and move any controller in your midi device and it will be set automatically.

Midi In and Midi Thru connectors, allows you to connect many midi devices in chain.

Let's make some serious noise!!! this machine is great for live performance and improvisation for creating insane effect loops, acid basslines or crazy random rhythms.
Make noise - experimental music, change the sound in real time by tweeking the knobs on stage or in studio.
Connect it to your favorite effects (delay, flange, etc, etc)and create a wide sort of rhytm textures and soundscapes.
Sync it to any midi device like a drumbox midi sequencer or computer and play live.
or create random sonic sequences and blow minds with this beautiful lighted analog sequencer synth box!!!.

Specifications
This synth features one analog square and saw waveform VCO (voltage controled oscillator) with a huge pitch range, from subsonic to ultrasonic sound.

Glide effect with a large range for radical portamento effect.

One square and triangle waveform LFO (low frequency oscillator), that modulates the VCO for the vibrato effect or the VCF for a tremolo effect, creating old school arcade Atari-like sounds.

White noise generator that triggers the VCO and can create percussion like sounds, or mix the the noise with the VCO.

Also, it has a built in vactrol based Low Pass and High Pass Filter with cut off and peak controls and a envelope generator with decay control to create a wide sort of timbres and sound possibilities.

Built in 8 step sequencer with global gate time control, note on/off switch and pitch slider for each step.

The built in sequencer also has 8 playing modes:
Oscillator mode, the Mochika becomes a drone oscillator, you can switch in real time between the 8 notes tweaking a knob.
4 step, 6 step, and 8 step sequencer mode.
4 step, 6 step, and 8 step forth and back sequence mode.
Random mode, it generates a large pseudo random sequence, seed of chaos!!!

The Mochika XL features a MIDI input to sync it any midi device sending midi clock signals, the mochika can sync 1, 2, 4 and up to 8 times the tempo of the master clock midi device.
All the Mochika sequencer modes, except oscillator mode, can be midi synchronized.

Also the instrument is ligthed with 1 bright red led that indicates the LFO Rate, and 8 red leds to indicate the step that is being played. Very useful when you play it on a dark stage.
The Analog Sequencer is packed in a cool laser cut clear acrilic case that shows all the hand made analog circuitry.
The instrument is powered directly from 110V or 220V AC depending of the country.

This machine gives you the great powerfull analog sound of AtomoSynth now with a build in keyboard and also it is MIDI controlable !!!.

At last this is our new synth called Medussa (version 2) its name is something like jelly-fish in spanish, it has a very acid and powerfull analog sound in a compact and good looking package.

The Medussa synth features:
one analog square and saw waveform VCO (voltage controled oscillator) with a huge pitch range, from subsonic to ultrasonic sound.

Glide module to add a portamento effect to the VCO.

One Low-pass vactrol based VCF (voltage controled filter)with cutoff and resonance controls and whith a decay knob which controls the cutoff parameter.

The Medussa features a 16 step analog-style sequencer.

Non-volatile internal memory to storage 3 sessions of 4 patterns each (while playing you can swith between the patterns in real time).

LCD blue back-ligthed display (very useful on dark stages).

5 buttons and pitch knob to control the sequencer (play/stop, cursor + and -, Ok and back buttons for intuitive control)

1/4 inch audio output, and a MIDI input to sync the Medussa with any midi device that sends midi clock signals, the Medussa can be synchronized at 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2 times the tempo of the master clock midi device.

The instrument is ligthed with one ultra bright led that illuminates the panel layout and one ultra bright led to indicate the step that is being played, also very usefull (and nice) in dark stages.

The Mochika features a MIDI input to sync the Mochika with any midi device sending midi clock signals, the mochika can sync 1,2,4 and 8 times the tempo of the master clock midi device.

Also the instrument is ligthed with 1 ultra bright red led that indicates the LFO Rate, and 8 red leds to indicate the step that is being played. Very useful when you play it on a dark stage.
The Analog Sequencer is packed in a cool laser cut clear acrilic case that shows all the hand made analog circuitry.
The instrument is powered directly from 110V or 220V AC.

The mochika was bought off ebay a few months ago,from michigan, usa.
the mochika now lives in seattle, washington and works very well with my 2 korg ms-10's.
i use a splitter for the c/v signals from mochika, to trigger both ms-10's.
it works out very very well.

Hello world!! this is the "Abyssal" analog photo-noise-machine & oscillating-filter
This synth features one square and saw waveform VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) with a huge pitch range, from subsonic to ultrasonic sound controlled by a big photocell (pitch control) allowing to play it like a photo Theremin.
One square and triangle waveform LFO (low frequency oscillator), that can modulate the VCO for the vibrato effect creating arcade Atari-like sounds; and also can modulate the filter creating a resonant tremolo effect.
One white noise generator that modulates the frequency of the VCO.
Voltage controlled vactrol filter with the classical cut off and resonance controls that produces unique, weird effects, also capable to process external audio signals.
It has a 1/4 inch audio output, 1/4 inch Line Audio Input, 1 big photocell. Also the instrument includes a red ultra bright LED tentacle to provide light for the photo cell, very useful when playing it on a dark stage.

"Well the complete story is the following:Before graduating university I wanted a sythesizer, to play, but I was broke. I tried to find money, find work, find a used one, I tried everything but it was too expensive. A MicoKorg was $700, and there were no used ones - well it was a disaster. So I said to hell with it, and built my own. [I communicated with one person, more than any other] and he couldn't believe they were made in Peru. When he invited me to join his band/group, I started [making synths again] because I'd actually quit. I made the first one, and it didn't sound good so I had quit building. The "Eclipse". I made it in a day. Sometimes I have an idea, and like an obsession I keep thinking of it and it gets to where I disregard other things so I must finish it to be calm again. Q: What is that?A: Its a photo-synthsezier. It has an oscillator but its controlled with a photocell and you can alter the sound by varying the light on the cell.I made 3 version of the sequencer. The first was the Medusa, of which I sold and its gone. This is the second Medusa thats a bit bigger but its all on one board. And the third one is called "Mochika" and its optimized. Its got ins and outs and can be synced to other gear, other Mochikas or drum machines with analog signals not digitally. The song we made with [Dante?] was a Mochika connected to a TR-606 Drumatix.Everything I tell you is mentally. [context?] I never make plans or drawings, or few. I do it mentally - I think out the structure in blocks in my mind, When its clear what Im going to do I go to the computer and I begin to draw the circuits. Sometimes I just sit there , just like that, like I'm doing nothing, but I'm just thinking. "

8 step Sequencer with note on/off switch and pitch knob for each step .

It has a 1/4 inch audio output, 1/4 inch CV Output (to control other analog gear), 1/4 inch Clock input (gate in to synk whit an external clock), 1/4 inch Gate/clock output.
Also the instrument is ligthed 2 with green leds that indicates the LFO and Sequencer Rate, and 8 blue leds to indicate the step that is being played. Very useful when you play it on a dark stage.

The Analog Sequencer is packed in a cool cristal acrilic case that shows all the hand made analog circuitry.
